VINTAGE MUSTANG ADS

One of two things will happen from reading the ads below, you'll either suffer from regret or extreme nausea.  Maybe that aluminum siding on the house could've waited.  Don't say I didn't warn you!!

These are ACTUAL ads that were placed in Mustang Monthly or the Mustang Times.

We'll count them down to No. 1 starting with No. 9:

No. 9 ad comes from the January 1984 issue of Mustang Monthly:

SHELBYS:  1969 GT-500, AC, auto, new Deltron Grabber Green with black interior, Shelby wheels with TAs, $11,700; 1968 GT-500KR, AC, auto, Highland Green with saddle interior, rebuilt engine and transmission, new tires with original wheel covers $12,000. No. 8 ad comes from the July 1979 issue of the Mustang Times:

No. 7 ad comes from the August 1979 issue of the Mustang Times:

No. 6 ad comes from the November 1979 issue of the Mustang Times:

I promise I'm not making this up!!  Too bad I didn't join the MCA until 1978... if I'd seen this ad my mom's brand new 1977 Olds Cutlass would've mysteriously disappeared and mom would've been driving a 1966 Shelby to work!!
