TROOP 226

TRI-CITIES CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

EAGLE SCOUTS

On July 25, 2007 Troop 226 produced its very FIRST Eagle Scouts!!

Cameron B. Morelock is Troop 226's first Eagle Scout.

Scott L. Hill is Troop 226's second Eagle Scout.

P. Casey Link is Troop 226's third Eagle Scout.

On September 15, 2007, Troop 226 held it's very FIRST Eagle Scout Court of Honor !!

All of our Boy Scouts did an EXCELLENT job in the ceremony!!

Tim Carter was our Master of Ceremonies and Brenda Link presented the findings of the July 25th Eagle Scout Board of Review.  Both gave very moving and emotional speeches!!

Steve McMillian, Ocanosta District Executive, provided a nice reflection back on Cameron's and Scott's journey and accomplishments in their Scouting journey.  Steve also assisted in the presentation of Eagle Rank to both of our Eagle Scouts.

Brian Morelock and Alan Hill gave Cameron and Scott their Eagle Scout neckerchiefs and slides.

Janie Morelock and Dora Hill gave Cameron and Scott their Eagle Scout medals.

Cameron and Scott gave their mothers an Eagle pin and their fathers and Eagle tie tack.

Cameron and Scott provided everyone with some emotional speeches and presented Brian with an award to commemorate the first Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

Alan Hill made a presentation to Cameron and Scott on behalf of Sullivan County Mayor, Steve Godsey.  Alan also presented Cameron and Scott with handmade Eagle awards that were nothing short of spectacular!!  The hours of labor and craftsmanship that went into these awards was astounding!

After the ceremony, it was time to PARTY!!  Everyone went to the Fellowship Hall for a nice meal!

Tammy Stamper provided the nice meal and decorations.  She even went the extra mile for Cameron and Scott... she baked them a Fudge Round cake to commemorate Troop 226's offical camping food... FUDGE ROUNDS!!  It was every bit as good as we had imagined!!

And if the excellent fellowship and food wasn't enough, Cameron and Scott also provided the after-dinner entertainment with an encore performance of "Yeah Toast!!"

A campsite was set up outside the Fellowship Hall along with Cameron's and Scott's many awards, achievements, and mementos from their Scouting journey.  Troop 226's awards were also on display.

And just think... we've only just BEGUN to produce Eagle Scout!!!
