TROOP 226

WHY CHOOSE BOY SCOUTING??

Are you and your parents interested in Scouting? Are you in 6th through 11th grade (age 11-17)? If so, you may be interested in becoming a Boy Scout!!  You and your parents may want to know why choose Scouting over other activities, here's some thoughts. Scouting offers you the great outdoors. You can learn to camp and hike without leaving a trace and how to be a good steward of the land. You'll study wildlife and learn about nature. You learn new skills and teach others what you have learned. Everyone helping everyone else is a part of Scouting.  Troop 226 is a Christ-centered Boy Scout Troop so we not only use the Boy Scout Handbook, but also the Bible!!  Explore our website and see what all Troop 226 has to offer!

Scouting offers you friendship. The members of your troop could become lifelong friends.... just see below!!
